PHYSICIAN - Pediatric Hospitalist - casual - Fargo, ND
About The Position
Seeking a casual Pediatric Hospitalist to join a growing pediatric inpatient services team at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND. This is a well-established and respected practice that includes 3 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The role involves consecutive block scheduling with 24-hour shifts, and APPs will work with physicians for dyad coverage. Hospitalists will not cover ICU, Peds ICU, or NICU. The average pediatric census is 2 to 3 patients per day, and daily newborn rounding coverage is required. Special procedures preferred/required include circumcisions, with other procedures dependent on experience. Leadership options are available.
Requirements
- BE/BC Pediatrician
- Pediatric candidates only
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with special procedures such as circumcisions.
