About The Position

Seeking a casual Pediatric Hospitalist to join the growing pediatric inpatient services at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND. This is a well-established, well-respected, and growing practice that includes 3 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The role involves 24-hour shifts with APPs working alongside physicians for dyad coverage. Hospitalists do not cover ICU, Peds ICU, or NICU. The average pediatric census is 2 to 3 patients per day. Daily newborn rounding coverage is also part of the responsibilities. Special procedures preferred/required include circumcisions, with other procedures dependent on experience. Leadership options are available.

Requirements

• BE/BC Pediatrician
• Pediatric candidates only
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with special procedures such as circumcisions.
