About The Position
Essentia Health is seeking a Physician Hospitalist for a daytime rounding role in Fargo, ND. This position is within the Hospitalist Services department at the 32nd Avenue Building. The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and a team-player focused on providing top-quality patient care. The role involves managing an average of 14-17 patients per hospitalist, with no procedures required. Support is available from specialty teams and 24/7 intensivist coverage. The hospital has 140 beds and a closed ICU. The schedule is a 7/7 on/off rotation with flexible scheduling options.
Requirements
- BC/BE Internal Medicine
- BC/BE Family Medicine with a minimum of 1 year Hospitalist experience, or completion of a Hospitalist Fellowship
Responsibilities
- Manage an average of 14-17 patients per hospitalist.
- Provide daytime hospitalist care.
- Collaborate with a strong, collegial team of hospitalists and NP support.
- Access specialty and 24/7 intensivist support.
- No procedures required.
