About The Position

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), is seeking to employ a Urologic Surgical Oncologist to join the Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute. This is an opportunity to join a growing multidisciplinary oncology program dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with genitourinary malignancies within a leading integrated healthcare system. The role is a Full-Time Opportunity (Job ID: FY26-MIA-CC-21-2). Candidates must demonstrate expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of genitourinary malignancies. Responsibilities include the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients using various therapies and participation in clinical trials. Operative management will involve open, minimally invasive, and robotic-assisted surgical techniques. Collaboration with other oncology specialists is essential for developing individualized treatment plans and optimizing patient outcomes. Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and treatment planning conferences is expected. Proficiency in robotic-assisted surgery and complex oncologic procedures is desired. Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date).
• Satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
• Fellowship training in Urologic Oncology is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients utilizing chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and participation in clinical trials when appropriate.
• Evaluation, diagnosis, and operative management of patients with urologic malignancies utilizing open, minimally invasive, robotic-assisted, and advanced surgical techniques when appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, Genetics, and other oncology specialists to develop individualized treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and treatment planning conferences informed by the latest clinical evidence and national guidelines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast tumor boards and treatment planning conferences informed by the latest clinical evidence and national guidelines.
• Demonstrate proficiency in robotic-assisted surgery and complex oncologic procedures involving the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
