About The Position

The West Virginia University Health System (WVUHS) Medical Group is seeking an OBGYN Hospitalist to practice in Martinsburg, WV. WVUHS is the state's largest health system and largest private employer, comprising 18 hospitals and five institutes. The Obstetrics and Gynecology providers at WVU Medicine offer a comprehensive range of women's health services. Berkeley Medical Center, a 195-bed non-profit acute care hospital, serves the community with advanced services including radiology, a wound care center, Level III NICU, ICU, oncology, neurosurgery, and a Cardiac Cath Lab. The hospital has recently expanded its OR services. The Eastern Panhandle location offers a rural atmosphere, lower cost of living, and easy accessibility to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible to obtain state medical license.
  • Completed an OB/Gyn Residency program.
  • Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
  • All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Practice in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Hospitalist.
  • Provide a full spectrum of women’s health services, from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
  • Offer the latest innovative advances in obstetric and gynecologic care.
