About The Position

The West Virginia University Health System (WVUHS) Medical Group is seeking an OBGYN Hospitalist to practice in Martinsburg, WV. The Obstetrics and Gynecology providers of WVU Medicine offer a comprehensive range of women's health services, from adolescence through menopause and beyond. Berkeley Medical Center, a 195-bed non-profit acute care hospital, serves the community with advanced services including MRI, PET, interventional radiology, a wound care center, Level III NICU, ICU, oncology services, neurosurgery, and a Cardiac Cath Lab. The hospital has recently expanded its OR services to enhance capabilities in robotics, orthopedics, and vascular health. WVUHS is West Virginia's largest health system and largest private employer, comprising over 20 hospitals and five institutes, anchored by a 700-bed academic medical center. The Eastern Panhandle location offers a rural atmosphere, lower cost of living, and easy access to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible to obtain state medical license.
  • Completed an OBGYN residency program.
  • Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
  • All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Practice in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Hospitalist.
  • Provide a full spectrum of women’s health services, from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
  • Offer the latest innovative advances in obstetric and gynecologic care.
