About The Position

We are seeking 2-3 additional Neuroendovascular Surgery physicians to provide locum coverage for a Level 1 Trauma Facility. This role involves providing 24/7 neuroendovascular call services, including response to emergency department stroke alerts. The physicians will manage an inpatient roster of 10-12 patients, with additional admissions from call and interventional radiology. The practice setting is entirely inpatient, serving adult and geriatric patients. This coverage is essential to address current provider shortages.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Interventional Neurology
• Active Ohio Medical License
• BLS and ACLS Certification
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Unblemished professional background with no malpractice or licensing issues

Responsibilities

• Deliver 24/7 neuroendovascular call services.
• Provide 24/7 response to emergency department stroke alerts.
• Perform thrombectomy and other relevant neuroendovascular procedures as clinically indicated.
• Manage an inpatient roster of 10-12 patients, with additional admissions from call and interventional radiology.
