UofL Health, in collaboration with the University of Louisville Division of Hematology/Oncology is seeking applicants for a medical oncologist with the organization. This position will provide care for patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases and provide primary care to patients during diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. This position will occasionally support UofL Health’s affiliated hospitals and clinics in Louisville, KY. Assist with the development and contribution to the respective multi-disciplinary cancer programs and the design and development of clinical trials and translational research. Requirements

  • Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology
  • Kentucky medical license
  • Medical Doctorate degree
  • ACLS/BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Epic EMR experience
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases
  • Provide primary care to patients during diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • On-call coverage and service rotation at the University of Louisville Health hospital, with primary deployment at the Bluegrass Avenue site at Mary & Elizabeth Hospital
  • Support UofL Health’s affiliated hospitals and clinics in Louisville, KY
  • Assist with the development and contribution to the respective multi-disciplinary cancer programs
  • Design and development of clinical trials and translational research
