About The Position

The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical Oncology are seeking a General Hematologist/Oncologist. The successful candidate will practice in Weirton, West Virginia, focusing on Hematology/Oncology. In addition to patient care, the role involves teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible for state medical license.
  • Completed Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Completed Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
  • Board certified / eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Practice in the areas of Hematology/Oncology.
  • Provide excellent patient care.
  • Be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
