Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Medical School and Residency Program required.
- Previous experience as an oncologist required.
- Must have a current, valid license to practice medicine in the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Medicine.
- Must have a current, valid Controlled Substance Registration in the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
- Must have a current, valid DEA Registration and must be in good standing with the DEA.
- Must be a member of the Active Medical Staff at Ivinson Memorial Hospital and must comply with the Medical Staff governing documents.
- Must remain in good standing with the Medical Staff and governing documents and must obtain all necessary hospital privileges to perform the role of Hospitalist at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.
- Excellent customer service skills, including but not limited to: a friendly personality, tact, patience, empathy and a helpful, professional attitude both in person and on the telephone.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, managers and the general public verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose and treat or prescribe course of treatment for patients.
- Provide consultation and advice to the medical staff regarding oncology matters.
- Conduct and supervise direct patient care, and plan and execute disease prevention and health promotion programs.
- Order and interpret findings of studies/tests.
- Dictate or write patient history, admissions, care plans, progress, and discharge notes.
- Conducts or participates in daily multidisciplinary rounds and ensures appropriate and quality care for assigned patient.
- Other duties as assigned.
