About The Position

Join us as a board certified or residency trained Medical Oncologist at VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists and you’ll quickly discover that you’re well supported by world-class medicine, technology, facilities and a talented team. This is a 24/7 emergency/referral hospital with services in surgery, internal medicine, radiation oncology, neurology and a team of experienced emergency and critical care doctors. Reside within a new, 34,000 sq. ft., award winning 2015 Hospital of the Year with MRI, CT, I-131, endoscopy, ultrasound, ECG, electro diagnostics, a linear accelerator, in-house reference laboratory and blood bank. Home to the Palm Coast Education Center that includes a 125-seat auditorium, large conference room and a meeting hall used to provide continuing education programs for veterinarians and paraprofessionals. Located on the southeast coast of Florida, the area is blessed with year-round pleasant weather and beautiful white sandy beaches. Access to a network of specialists within VCA.

Requirements

  • Board certified or residency trained Medical Oncologist.
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain.
  • Residency Trained or Diplomate Board Certification.

  • Work with Medical, Radiation and Surgical Oncologists to bring advanced treatments, technology and education to all veterinarians by providing collaborative care, research, clinical trials and leadership to help ensure that pets are living their best possible lives.
