About The Position

Join us as a board-certified or residency-trained Medical Oncologist at VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital and you’ll quickly discover that you’re well supported by world-class medicine, technology, facilities and a talented team. You’ll be empowered to do your best work with a team you can count on. At VCA, the future of veterinary medicine is in our hands. This is a 24/7 emergency/specialty/general practice hospital. Our specialty services include Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging and Emergency and Critical Care, with two ABVP Diplomates. We also have a rotating internship and specialty surgical internship program. The hospital is equipped with 3 Ultrasound units, video endoscopy, thoracoscopy, laparoscopy, bronchoscopy and arthroscopy equipment, ventilators, high flow oxygen, expansive anesthetic and critical care monitoring devices, a 64 slice CT scan, 2 digital Xray units, Ligasure vessel sealing equipment, in-house laboratory, underwater and land treadmills, therapeutic laser, ultrasound, EMS, TENS and complete blood products. The hospital is located in a classic beach town in Broward County, between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, offering the best of both beach and city life with opportunities for fishing, swimming, kayaking, relaxing, nightlife, museums, and sporting events. We offer access to a network of specialists within VCA.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or residency-trained Medical Oncologist
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain
