About The Position

Action Behavior Centers provides therapy for children with autism to help address developmental delays, including speech, behavior, and social skills. The Austin-based company is seeking a Physician Liaison to build relationships with medical professionals in the community and expand its network of children and families served. After training, the role primarily involves driving to physicians’ offices, preparing and conducting lunch-and-learn presentations, and other community outreach. The company is looking for a high-energy, driven person who is comfortable spending most of their workdays driving.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in physician liaison work or healthcare sales/business development.
• Passion for relationship-building and marketing.
• Experience networking and interacting with groups of people.
• Comfort spending substantial time driving and in a car.
• Desire to advance within a growing organization.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with medical professionals in the community.
• Help expand the organization’s network of children and families served.
• Drive to physicians’ offices.
• Prepare and conduct lunch-and-learn presentations.
• Market the organization to the community and generate leads, particularly through in-person interactions.
