About The Position
MultiCare Health System is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join its busy, well-established, and expanding practice at Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, Washington. The position provides ambulatory-only primary care, with embedded support services designed to make practice sustainable and enjoyable. Support includes behavioral health resources, integrated RN care managers, medication refill support, well-resourced front- and back-office staff services, and a clinical quality program. The physician will join a collaborative, integrated health system and a multispecialty group of more than 300 providers. The role offers dedicated medical assistant support, outstanding facilities, comprehensive resources, and opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, leadership development, and research. The schedule is days, with either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, and limited on-call requirements.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible at the time of employment.
- Licensed in Washington state by the time of employment.
- DEA registration, NPI, and prescriptive authority.
- Current ACLS/BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Provide ambulatory-only internal medicine primary care.
- Partner with patients, families, colleagues, and other care team members to support patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with embedded support services, including behavioral health resources and integrated RN care managers.
- Participate in the practice’s clinical quality program.
