Physician - Hospital Medicine - Up to $50K Sign On Bonus!
About The Position
Vituity is seeking Hospital Medicine physicians for Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida. The role offers an ownership partnership model with autonomy, local control, financial transparency, profit distributions, equity ownership, and career development opportunities. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $50,000. Ascension Sacred Heart is a 566-bed Level I Trauma Center and Nationally Certified Stroke Center, with most subspecialty backup available except dermatology and rheumatology. Hospitalists see 16–22 encounters per day, while night hospitalists see 12–14 encounters. The ICU is closed, and no procedures are required. Intensivists, imaging, and labs are available onsite. The facility is also the region’s only pediatric trauma referral center and high-risk pregnancy center. The position is based in Pensacola, a coastal city in Florida’s Panhandle with beaches, outdoor recreation, cultural attractions, festivals, and a relatively affordable cost of living. Estimated annual base compensation is $275,000–$900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Total compensation may exceed this range through partnership income. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked.
Requirements
- Board eligibility or board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.

Responsibilities
- Provide hospital medicine care at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida.
- Manage a clinical volume of approximately 16–22 encounters per day, or 12–14 encounters per night, depending on assignment.
