About The Position

Vituity is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join its physician-owned partnership at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $50,000. The role offers the autonomy and local control of Vituity’s ownership model, backed by a national system of support and peer expertise from 9,000 clinicians.

The hospital is a 400-bed facility with a 14-bed dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department, 24 pediatric floor beds, and an annual emergency department volume of 22,000. Pediatric resources include 12 PICU beds, a 40-bed Level III NICU, a fully staffed Cleft and Craniofacial Team, excellent pediatric subspecialty coverage, and a dedicated 24/7 pediatric transport team. On-site neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, and pediatric intensivists are available around the clock. Pediatric services span allergy and immunology, cardiology, ENT, general surgery, neurology, pulmonology, endocrinology, orthopedics, and urology.

There are opportunities to pick up adult emergency department shifts at St. Mary’s Hospital, a tertiary care center, and at other emergency departments staffed by the group. Richmond offers historical and cultural attractions, outdoor activities along the James River, arts and dining, a four-season climate, and local sports teams.

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine with a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship, or a pediatric physician with an Emergency Medicine fellowship.
• A current Virginia state license is a plus.
