Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians with a PEDS Fellowship or a Pediatric Physician with an EM Fellowship.
• Current VA state license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department.
• Pick up adult emergency department shifts at St. Mary’s Hospital or other group-staffed emergency departments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, pediatric intensivists, nurses, respiratory therapists, paramedics, and EMTs.
• Ensure seamless and safe transfers for critically ill children via a dedicated 24/7 pediatric transport team.
• Contribute to a purpose-driven culture focused on transforming healthcare and improving lives.
