About The Position
Vituity is seeking Hospital Medicine Physicians to join its physician-owned partnership in San Luis Obispo, California. Vituity’s ownership model offers autonomy, local control, financial transparency, profit distribution, career development opportunities, and support from a national healthcare team and 9,000 clinicians. Physicians participate in the partnership model from day one, including profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. The position is based at Adventist Health Sierra Vista, a 165-bed hospital with an 18-bed closed ICU. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center, and has a neurosurgery center with UCSF certification. The hospital reports 18 encounters per day and four encounters per night and has an ‘A’ rating from The Leapfrog Group. Full-time opportunities are available, and visa candidates are encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $100,000. Estimated annual base compensation is $275,000–$900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Total compensation, including partnership income, varies by site and may significantly exceed the stated range.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hospital Medicine.
- A current California state license is a plus.
