About The Position

Vituity is seeking a Hospital Medicine physician for a nocturnist role at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, California. The position offers an ownership partnership model with autonomy and local control, financial transparency, profit distribution, equity ownership, and career development opportunities. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $100,000. Mercy Medical Center is a 266-bed facility with an annual volume of 56,000 and is a Level II Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and STEMI Receiving Center. The ICU is closed, with approximately 12 admissions per day and 10 per night; the ICU team handles code blues. Procedures are optional, and Vituity scribe support is available. The estimated annual base compensation is $275,000–$900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Vituity physicians also participate in the partnership model from day one, which includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation may vary by site and may exceed the stated range. The role is based in Redding, a Northern California community with nearby outdoor recreation and access to Sacramento.

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hospital Medicine.
A current California state license is a plus.
