About The Position

Ochsner Health is actively recruiting a BC/BE General Surgeon to join their group at the West Bank campus. This is a clinic-based position with dedicated surgery days. The role involves working with a collegial, multidisciplinary team including Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, Radiologists, Pathologists, Dieticians, Medical and Radiation Oncologists, and nurse navigators who collaborate on customized patient care plans. The position utilizes an integrated practice model with a strong internal referral network and support from specialists and sub-specialists throughout the Ochsner Health System. The EPIC medical record platform is used throughout the system.

Requirements

• BC/BE General Surgeon
• Ability to work in a clinic-based position with dedicated surgery days.
• Familiarity with EPIC medical record platform is implied by system-wide use.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with da Vinci Xi robots.
