Physician - General Surgery
About The Position
Ochsner Health is actively recruiting a BC/BE General Surgeon to join our group at our West Bank campus. This is a clinic-based position with dedicated surgery days, utilizing da Vinci Xi robots. The role involves working within a collegial, multidisciplinary team of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, Radiologists, Pathologists, Dieticians, Medical and Radiation Oncologists, and nurse navigators who collaborate on customized patient care plans. The position benefits from an integrated practice model with a strong internal referral network and support from specialists and sub-specialists throughout the Ochsner Health System. The EPIC medical record platform is utilized throughout the system.
Requirements
- BC/BE General Surgeon
- Proficiency with EPIC medical record platform

- Experience with da Vinci Xi robots
Responsibilities
- Provide general surgery services at the West Bank campus.
