About The Position

The Physician Customer Service Associate performs receptionist and related clerical duties for the Garnet Health Doctors physician practice call center. The role is cross-trained to work in practices, where duties include greeting and interviewing patients, families, or other representatives, and handling telephone interactions. The position involves high-volume phone work, entering information into a computer, and pre-registering scheduled patients. The role is based on-site. The position may involve irregular hours, including evenings or potentially weekends, to participate in operational and community events as necessary.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of related experience in a high-traffic, confidential environment.
Ability to perform the full anatomical range of motion needed to accomplish tasks.
Visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment.
Ability to withstand long periods of sitting, standing, and/or constant walking.
Ability to lift 10 pounds.
Ability to foster collaborative relationships, work well under pressure, organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks.
Critical-thinking and analytical skills, flexibility, and ability to multitask.
Detailed attention to work in an environment where interruptions cannot be controlled.
Sensitivity to customer needs and expectations.
