About The Position

Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is hiring a per diem Physician Assistant to evaluate patients with joint pain and arthritis and determine appropriate treatment. The role supports patients seeking relief through the centers’ non-surgical, non-opioid therapies and aims to provide comfortable, efficient visits and a positive patient experience. The Physician Assistant works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, educates patients, and completes required documentation. The position is in person in a private-practice office, with as-needed scheduling during practice operating hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Requirements

Clear and active state license.
Knowledge of orthopedic medical procedures.
Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Social perceptiveness and a service-oriented approach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients with joint pain and arthritis to determine the best course of treatment.
Conduct diagnostic tests to determine the extent of joint damage.
Perform screenings and develop patient treatment plans, including recommendations for supplements, injections, and other therapies.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients about their condition, treatment options, and preventative measures to minimize joint pain and damage.
Complete patient documentation requirements.
Ensure a positive patient experience.
