Primary Care Functional Medicine - Physician Assistant
About The Position
OnePeak Medical is seeking a passionate and skilled Medical Provider to provide whole-person primary care in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. The role involves comprehensive medical services, lasting patient relationships, and collaboration with a high-functioning care team to optimize health outcomes. Care is delivered through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments, using functional and integrative medicine approaches. The position offers a guaranteed salary with earning potential of $300k+, relocation support, functional medicine onboarding and mentorship, and clinical and administrative support. The schedule is a four-day work week with a flexible schedule and no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- Active Oregon license as a Certified Physician Assistant, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency using electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments.
- Perform comprehensive assessments; order and interpret labs and imaging; and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions.
- Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles.
- Collaborate with internal health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff.
- Document visits in the EHR in a timely and compliant manner.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
- Support clinic operations by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.
