Primary Care Functional Medicine - Physician Assistant
About The Position
OnePeak Medical is seeking a passionate and skilled Medical Provider to deliver whole-person primary care in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. The role provides comprehensive medical services, builds lasting patient relationships, and works with a collaborative care team to promote optimal health outcomes. Care is provided through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments, using the company’s functional and integrative medicine model. The position includes comprehensive onboarding, clinical mentorship, and ongoing functional medicine training. Providers receive administrative, coding, and billing support, with dedicated medical assistant and medical scribe support available. Compensation is a guaranteed salary with earning potential of $300k+, and relocation is offered. The schedule is a four-day work week with flexibility and no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- Active Oregon license as a Certified Physician Assistant, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency using electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments.
- Perform comprehensive assessments; order and interpret labs and imaging; and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions.
- Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles.
- Collaborate with health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff.
- Document visits in the EHR in a timely and compliant manner.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
- Support clinic operations by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.
