Primary Care Functional Medicine - Physician Assistant
About The Position
OnePeak Medical is seeking a passionate, skilled Medical Provider to deliver whole-person primary care in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. The provider will offer comprehensive medical services, build lasting patient relationships, and collaborate with a high-functioning care team to optimize health outcomes. The position uses functional and integrative medicine approaches, including preventive care and individualized treatment plans. The role includes office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments. OnePeak provides functional medicine onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing training, along with administrative, coding, billing, medical assistant, and medical scribe support. Compensation is a guaranteed salary with earning potential of $300k+, and relocation is offered. The schedule is a four-day work week with flexibility and no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- Active Oregon license as a Certified Physician Assistant, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret labs and imaging, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions.
- Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles.
- Collaborate with health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff.
- Document visits in the EHR in a timely and compliant manner.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic environment.
