About The Position

Sutter East Bay Medical Group is seeking a full-time Surgery Physician Assistant for its Oakland location. The position supports surgeons in providing high-quality, team-based care to General Surgery and Surgical Oncology patients. The work includes a mix of assisting in the operating room and seeing patients in clinic, including in connection with robotic surgery. The Physician Assistant collaborates with surgeons and may become eligible for shareholder status in the medical group following 24 months of employment.

Sutter East Bay Medical Group is a multi-specialty medical group of more than 400 clinicians practicing in over 25 specialties throughout Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. It is affiliated with the Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation, which provides operational and administrative support, including technology resources. Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience working in surgery.
• Current California State NP or PA license.
• Active DEA registration.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in in-basket coverage is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
