About The Position

Sutter East Bay Medical Group is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible General Surgeon to join its growing General Surgery division. The position is based primarily in Antioch, California, and includes a mix of elective general surgery and acute care surgery. The ideal candidate is committed to providing bread-and-butter general surgery for both elective and emergency care.

The role offers a steady, manageable work volume and an integrated electronic health record, with supportive and collaborative colleagues and consultants. Operating rooms have robotic surgery availability, and the office is equipped for ultrasound, biopsy, and minor procedures. Compensation is competitive and includes productivity incentives and an income guarantee. Shareholder eligibility follows 24 months of employment.

Sutter East Bay Medical Group is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 600 clinicians across over 25 specialties in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. It is affiliated with the Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation, which provides operational and administrative support, including technology, so physicians can focus on patient care.

Requirements
