About The Position

Sutter East Bay Medical Group is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible General Surgeon to join its growing General Surgery division. The primary location is Antioch, California. The role includes a mix of elective general surgery and acute care surgery, with an interest in bread-and-butter general surgery for both elective and emergency care. The position offers a steady, manageable workload, an integrated electronic health record, supportive and collaborative colleagues and consultants, robotic surgery availability in the operating room, and state-of-the-art office equipment for ultrasound, biopsy, and minor procedures.

The organization is a multispecialty medical group with more than 600 clinicians across over 25 specialties in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. It is affiliated with the Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation, which provides operational and administrative support and technology to help physicians focus on patient care.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible.
• Residency in General Surgery.
• Robotic surgery skills.
• Committed interest in bread-and-butter general surgery for elective and emergency care.
