About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking a Physician Assistant in Altoona, Pennsylvania, to perform independent medical evaluations for individuals applying for disability benefits. This is an evaluation-only role with no treatment, on-call duties, or follow-up. The position focuses on thorough, objective clinical assessments and documenting findings through a digital platform.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license.
• NCCPA certification (PA-C).
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• At least 1 year of clinical Physician Assistant experience.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), or orthopedics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform focused physical examinations.
• Review diagnostic testing and medical records.
