About The Position

Seeking an energetic and motivated Physician Assistant to join our growing Ears Nose & Throat Division. The Physician Assistant role will consist of outpatient clinic duties, facilitating admissions and transfers from other hospitals, triaging calls, and taking messages. Our Physician Assistants may travel to Marina Del Rey and Tarzana satellite locations to care for patients. This role will provide care to children including newborns to adolescents.

Requirements

• Must be a Physician Assistant.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including up to 8pm.
• Must be available to travel to satellite locations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) is preferred.
• Experience caring for children including newborns to adolescents is preferred.

Responsibilities

• See patients in clinic, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
• Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as imaging, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviations from normal.
• Perform in-office therapeutic procedures such as endoscopic evaluations, injections, suturing, suture removal, ear wax removal, incision and drainage procedures, and wound care.
• Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
• Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens.
• Assist physicians with in-office procedures.
• Provide care to children including newborns to adolescents.
• Travel to Marina Del Rey and Tarzana satellite locations to care for patients.
• Participate in grand rounds, tumor boards and other educational activities.
