About The Position

The University of Maryland Midtown Campus is seeking a highly motivated, licensed Physician Assistant to join its Emergency Department team. Under general supervision, and in collaboration with physician colleagues and an interdisciplinary care team, the Physician Assistant provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals presenting with acute and emergent conditions.

Requirements

• Graduation from a Physician Assistant Training Program approved by the Board of Physician Quality Assurance.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Licensure as a Physician Assistant by the Maryland State Board of Physicians.
• CPR certification.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS and/or other relevant certifications as required by the department.
• Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the ages of patients served on the assigned unit.
