About The Position
Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG) is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join their City Center Family Medicine practice in Newport News, VA. TPMG is a large multispecialty group with over 220 providers serving patients throughout Hampton Roads and southeastern Virginia. The City Center Family Medicine practice focuses on preventative and primary care in a friendly, energetic, and comfortable environment. The practice aims to provide excellent patient service and help patients understand their medical needs and the best course for their health. The team consists of two Physicians, two Physician Assistants, and supportive administrative and clinical staff. The ideal candidate will be conscientious, empathetic, a good communicator, and organized. The Newport News area offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, museums, and concerts, promoting a good work-life balance.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant program.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Current DEA license.
- Current national board certification.
- Current CPR certification.
