About The Position
Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG) is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join its Obstetrics and Gynecology team in Newport News, Virginia. The role is in collaboration with the practice’s physicians and multidisciplinary team at a busy, well-established practice. TPMG OBGYN has locations in Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, and Gloucester, and provides routine OBGYN care, in-office ultrasounds (including 4D ultrasounds for obstetrical patients), designated laboratory tests, colposcopies, and LEEP procedures. The practice serves a majority of privately insured patients and offers potential for growth. Successful candidates will have strong communication and critical-thinking skills, a strong team spirit, and a passion for birth.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Midwife program.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
- Current DEA license.
- Current national board certification.
- Current CPR certification.
