About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for full-time opportunities in Imperial. The role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a collaborative urgent care environment with modern, provider- and patient-friendly centers equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced electronic medical record integrated with Mercy (Epic). Staffing includes radiology technicians and highly trained medical assistants. Compensation includes competitive salary and hourly rates, a daily volume bonus based on patient-visit metrics per shift, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction scores and quality measures. The position also offers a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for full-time roles. Requirements
- At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Comfort with minor procedures, preliminary EKG reads, and preliminary X-ray reads.
- Physician Assistants must have a master's degree and NCCPA certification.
- Nurse Practitioners must have a master's degree and appropriate certification from AANC or AANP.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality urgent care to pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints.
- Provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
