About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for full-time opportunities in Fenton. The role involves delivering high-quality care in a dynamic urgent care environment at modern, provider- and patient-friendly centers equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy (Epic). The centers use collaborative staffing that includes radiology technicians and highly trained medical assistants. The position offers competitive salary and hourly rates, a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000, a monthly daily-volume bonus based on patient-visit metrics per shift, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction scores and quality measures. Requirements
- At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Comfort with minor procedures, preliminary reads of EKGs, and X-rays.
- For Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA certification.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and appropriate AANC or AANP certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality urgent care to pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints.
- Provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
