About The Position

ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join its established otolaryngology practice in the Niceville area of Florida’s Panhandle. The group provides comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated provider with strong clinical, surgical, interpersonal, and organizational skills, working with an enthusiastic surgeon and experienced support staff.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The role includes evaluating and treating patients in the office and performing minor surgical procedures. Compensation is based on experience and skills. The employer conducts criminal, credit, drug (including nicotine and tobacco), and driver’s license background checks on applicants being considered.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
• Must be able to work full-time.
• Strong clinical, surgical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent medical understanding, analytical skills, and clinical skills.
• Excellent patient rapport and communication skills.
• Long-term commitment.
• Able to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of practical experience in internal medicine or allergy is preferred.
• ENT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in the office setting.
• Perform minor surgical office procedures.
• Conduct initial evaluations and physical examinations.
• Provide preoperative, postoperative, and follow-up care.
• Educate patients before and after procedures.
• Prepare preoperative data.
• Assist with transferring patients from a wheelchair to an exam table or chair.
