About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Physician Assistant - OB/GYN to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. This role involves providing direct gynecologic care, preventative care, and gynecological surgical care, including minimally invasive techniques and postoperative care, in both ambulatory and in-patient settings. The position also requires assisting and performing procedures in the OR, participating in Performance Improvement (PI) Activities for Gynecology, and providing supervision and teaching to rotating learners (medical students and physician assistant students) through didactic sessions and clinical work.

Requirements

Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
Current certification issued by the NCCPA.
Must be ACLS/BLS certified.
DEA Certification.

Responsibilities

Provide direct gynecologic care and preventative care to patients in ambulatory care and in-patient settings.
Provide gynecological surgical care to patients, including minimally invasive techniques and postoperative care.
Assist and perform procedures in the OR.
Participate in OB/GYN and Kings County Hospital Performance Improvement (PI) Activities for Gynecology.
Provide supervision and teaching to rotating learners, including but not limited to, medical students and physician assistant students.
Participate in didactic sessions for rotating learners, including but not limited to, medical students and physician assistant students.
