About The Position

OrthoArizona is hiring a part-time Physical Therapy Technician to support licensed physical therapists and patients at its Chandler (Ice Den), Arizona location. The role focuses on hand and upper-extremity physical therapy in a multi-specialty orthopedic clinic. Working under the direct supervision of licensed physical therapists, the technician assists patients with movement and treatment exercises, helps prepare patients for treatment, and keeps treatment areas clean and organized. The position also includes phone and front-desk duties and may require travel to other locations to support patient volume. OrthoArizona presents the role as an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in physical therapy and prepare for PT or PTA school. Starting pay is $15.15 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of exercise techniques and human anatomy, and ability to correct positioning.
Observational skills to report patient responses to therapists.
Flexibility to travel to other locations to support patient volume.

Responsibilities

Transport patients to and from treatment areas with compassion and care.
Assist patients with undressing and dressing wounds in preparation for treatment.
Support treatment procedures as directed by licensed therapists.
Apply heat and cold modalities, conduct exercises, and provide injury-prevention services.
Maintain clean, organized, and unobstructed treatment areas.
Answer phones, take messages, and assist with front-desk duties.
Observe and report patient responses to therapists.
Travel to other locations as needed to support patient volume.
