About The Position
Charter Senior Living of Oak Opening has a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant opportunity with Legacy Healthcare Services. The role assists with rehabilitative services for patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated, on-site care team. The PTA provides attentive, one-on-one therapy to residents, administering functional treatments through a holistic, patient-centered approach. The position offers mentorship, hands-on experience with innovative technologies and therapeutic treatments, and opportunities to pursue clinical interests, build subject matter expertise, and advance a rehabilitation career.
Requirements
- Associate’s of applied science degree in the area of discipline.
- Current license in the state of practice.
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
- Computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist with rehabilitative services for patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
- Provide one-on-one therapy services to residents.
- Administer functional treatments using a holistic, patient-centered approach.
