About The Position

Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and Billings Clinic and St. Vincent Healthcare, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their team. The role involves providing exceptional patient care and contributing to specialized rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from various conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The hospital is a 34-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility serving the Billings community since 2018 and is recognized by The Joint Commission and Newsweek.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.
• Administers physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assists in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitors patient responses and reports progress to PT.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
