Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
About The Position
Powerback is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services in a facility. The role implements physical therapy programs and activities, follows established recovery plans, and delivers therapy treatments to help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities. The assistant adapts care to individual patient needs, collaborates with peers, and makes referrals when needed to help patients receive appropriate care. The position reports to the Director of Rehab. Powerback provides integrated recovery, rehabilitation, respiratory, and wellness services across the nation. Its approach emphasizes individualized solutions and helping patients improve how they feel, move, breathe, and live.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy programs and activities.
- Follow developed patient recovery plans.
- Deliver therapy treatments.
- Adapt treatment to patients' individual needs.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to support patients' care.
- Help ensure patients and their families receive high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
