Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA - $2,500 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
D’Youville Life & Wellness Community is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to join its team. The organization provides nonprofit short-term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care to Greater Lowell and surrounding communities. Part-time or full-time schedules are available, ranging from 22.5 to 37.5 hours per week. Compensation is $30 to $34 per hour based on skills and experience, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. New graduates are welcome to apply. The Physical Therapy Assistant implements resident care programs as directed by a Physical Therapist, applies therapy procedures, observes and reports resident responses, completes documentation, maintains equipment and functional aids, and assists with supply inventory. Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy from an approved technical program.
- Active license in good standing and current registration with the State of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy resident care programs as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Follow established procedures for applying and using heat, cold, light, water, sound, and massage.
- Use special equipment such as braces, prostheses, and bandages.
- Observe and report residents’ responses to the Physical Therapist.
- Complete required documentation.
- Maintain equipment and functional aids in clean, working order.
- Assist in maintaining the inventory of supplies.
