About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with a start date of 12/01/2026. The role involves providing PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, focusing on improving patient mobility and independence through therapeutic exercises and functional activities. The position is within a skilled nursing facility environment and offers guaranteed hours with a weekly pay range of $1,687–$1,787.

Responsibilities

Provide Physical Therapy Assistant services under supervision of a licensed physical therapist, following established treatment plans
Guide and assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional activities to improve mobility and independence
Monitor and document patient responses, progress, and any adverse events; adjust activities within the plan of care as directed
Prepare equipment, assist with setup for therapy sessions, and ensure safety and infection control standards during therapy
Communicate effectively with the PT, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education as appropriate
