About The Position

Del Rosa Villa is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Del Rosa Villa is a 104-bed skilled nursing facility located in San Bernardino, California. We are committed to providing exceptional short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services in a supportive, resident-centered environment. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to deliver high-quality care and positive outcomes for every resident we serve. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve residents' mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

Requirements

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of California.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for resident-centered care and rehabilitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with implementing physical therapy treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and other prescribed interventions.
  • Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Accurately document treatment sessions and resident responses in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals and outcomes.
  • Educate residents and family members on exercises and mobility techniques as appropriate.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment.
