About The Position

Powerback is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered rehabilitation in an in-facility setting. The role implements physical therapy programs and activities, follows established recovery plans, and delivers therapy treatments to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities. The assistant adapts care to individual patient needs, collaborates with peers, and makes referrals when needed to help patients receive appropriate care. The position reports to the Director of Rehab.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Help restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities.
• Adapt to individual patient needs and the variety of work and settings.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to support patients’ care.
• Ensure patients and families receive high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
