About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join the outpatient therapy team at the River Valley Campus. The role involves conducting physical therapy plans of care to facilitate rehabilitation for patients with disabilities caused by disease, injury, or other physical limitations. The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, establishes treatment goals, develops treatment plans, and documents evaluations and treatments accurately and promptly. The role also includes supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, Physical Therapy Attendants, volunteers, and/or students in accordance with applicable laws and departmental guidelines, as well as assisting with departmental management tasks.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Possess a valid license to practice in the state of Ohio.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and facilitate resolution to various issues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to make independent decisions.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, establish treatment goals, and develop treatment plans.
• Document evaluations and treatments accurately and timely.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Attendants in accordance with state laws and departmental guidelines.
• Assist with departmental management tasks, including budgeting, setting annual goals, and improving patient satisfaction.
• Supervise and mentor volunteers and/or students following departmental guidelines.
• Contribute to patient- and family-centered care, safety, service quality, and ongoing improvement.
