About The Position
Theradynamics is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide for an outpatient facility in New York. The company provides rehabilitative therapy services in the Tri-State area and works with patients to help them achieve their goals through creative treatments and modern equipment. Full-time or part-time positions are available. The role assists with patient transport and safety, therapy-area preparation, equipment upkeep, and clerical tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist unit staff with transferring residents and patients as needed.
- Transport residents and patients to and from therapy treatment areas.
- Monitor residents and patients during exercise routines.
- Set up and clean treatment areas.
- Assist with cleaning and distributing wheelchairs.
- Maintain equipment and make minor repairs.
- Assist with clerical duties, including copying, faxing, filing, and answering phones.
- Keep the work area neat and orderly.
- Maintain residents’ and patients’ safety during transport and while assisting in the treatment area.
- Follow instructions and guidance, find solutions to work-related problems, and complete assignments independently without constant supervision.
- Attend and participate in required in-service educational programs and on-the-job training as directed or scheduled.
