Physical Therapist-Neuro-Part-Time
About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities in Irving, Texas, and surrounding areas. The organization treats traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. Therapists work one-on-one with patients as part of interdisciplinary teams, creating integrated treatment plans and using creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and support durable outcomes. Patients may be anywhere on the continuum from severe brain injury to job readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs.
