Physical Therapist-Neuro- Part-Time
About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Physical Therapists to provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities in Houston, Texas, and surrounding areas. The organization treats traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. Physical Therapists work one-on-one with patients as part of interdisciplinary teams that develop integrated treatment plans. Treatment uses creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and build skills in patients’ homes and communities. Patients may be at any point on the continuum, from severe brain injury through job readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs.
