Physical Therapist-Neuro-PRN
About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Physical Therapists for PRN positions serving Bastrop, Texas, and surrounding areas. The organization provides neurological rehabilitation for people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses in patients’ homes and communities. Physical Therapists work one-on-one with patients as part of interdisciplinary teams that develop integrated treatment plans. Treatment is individualized, evidence-based, and focused on practicing functional skills in the home and community to support durable outcomes. Patients may be at any point on the continuum, from severe brain injury through job readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments, including lower-extremity function, mobility, and vestibular skills.
- Evaluate and address adaptive equipment needs and environmental safety needs.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans practiced in patients’ homes and communities.
- Provide individualized, one-on-one rehabilitation focused on patients’ functional goals.
